We’re sure ordering online raises a few questions and while we would be happy for you to call us if you have any complex queries, we have collected common questions from customers just like you below. Have a browse and you may just find the answer you are looking for.

Products

Yes, what you see online is what we have in the store. However, not every item available in the store is available for purchase online. We are working towards making everything in the retail store available online.

There will be items marked ‘Online Exclusive’ that are only available for purchase and delivery from our online store.

If you know our products and know for a fact we carry it in our retail store, feel free to drop us an email and we can arrange an email order for you should you decide you would rather not go down to the store.

Due to the kind of products and Mother Nature, the weights listed are within a tight approximate range that we feel best represents what you will be ordering.

Your meat items will be vacuum packed individually to seal in the freshness. 

Most of our meat items are considered chilled (fresh), otherwise they will be specified frozen. Shabu Shabu beef and pork have to be frozen in order for it to be sliced so thinly. Satays are frozen too.

The chickens are not given growth hormones and are anti biotic free.

Ordering

Once your transaction is completed and payment is made, your order cannot be changed or cancelled. If you choose not to accept delivery, we are not able to refund any and all payment made.

No, there is no minimum purchase. If your order is $150 and above, the delivery is free. Orders below $150 will be charged a $20 delivery fee to your order.

We will contact you via call, SMS or Whatsapp if the item(s) you ordered is out of stock and will suggest a substitution with equal value. If not, you will receive a refund on your credit card.

Once you have checked out, you will receive an acknowledgement email and invoice detailing your order number, items purchased, successful payment and delivery information.

You will receive another reminder email one day before the scheduled delivery day.

On the day of delivery, the recipient will be informed when the order has been picked up.

We currently do not allow online orders to be picked up in store. 

It gets real busy around here during the Christmas holidays or before public holiday long weekends, as such we have to impose restrictions on delivery schedules.

These delivery schedules or limitations will be put up on our website.

We will try to accommodate most requests but there may be times when it is not possible. You may leave a note during checkout under the “Order Notes” field.

Payment

All payments are made in Singapore Dollars.

Currently, we only accept credit card payments via the website.

We do not accept cash payment upon delivery.

Cancellation & refunds

Once your transaction is completed and payment is made, your order cannot be changed or cancelled. If you choose not to accept delivery, we are not able to refund any and all payment made.

We uphold our product handling process strictly as we are dealing with temperature sensitive products and thus items purchased cannot be exchanged, returned, or refunded, unless the item has been delivered in a damaged condition and rejected upon delivery.

Damaged products will be replaced as soon as possible with the next delivery to your area.

We will contact you via call, SMS or Whatsapp if the item(s) you ordered is out stock and will suggest a substitution with equal value. If not, you will receive a refund on your credit card.

Please check with the issuing bank of your credit card for more details as the refund lead-time varies from bank to bank.

Delivery

Our delivery hours are Mondays to Saturdays, 1pm to 6pm. There is no delivery on Sundays.

Orders placed before 12pm are eligible for next day delivery.

Orders placed before 12pm on Saturdays are eligible for deliveries on Monday.

Orders placed after 12pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays before 12pm are eligible for Tuesdays deliveries.  

For orders below $150, the delivery fee will be $20. For orders above $150, the delivery is free.

Each order can only be delivered to one delivery address in Singapore. You will have to make multiple orders for different delivery addresses.

We currently do not allow online orders to be picked up in store. 

If there is anything wrong with your order, we advise you to get in touch by calling us at 8621 8950 as soon as possible once you receive the delivery.

Please notify us via whatsapp at 8621 8950 or email us at orders@meatthebutcher.com.sg upon delivery should there be an incorrect, missing or damaged item. 

We will strive our best to replace the incorrect, missing or damaged item as soon as possible. Please also show us the photos of the affected items.

Others

The website runs 24/7. Orders made during Chinese New Year and Christmas periods may have certain delivery restrictions.

These restrictions will be put up on our website and social media sites nearer the date.

The website does go through periodic updates for improvements, feature additions and security just like any website but we always tend to keep it to the wee hours of the night.
